MEMBER Cap City WarriorsConquers The Off-Season!
Varsity teammates Carson Tomlin and Judah Brungard and middle school player Cana Brungard along with Coach Kevin Brungard and their families spent a week in northern Pennsylvania on a Cap City mission trip serving on staff at a special needs week of church camp at Sylvan Hills. In addition to being responsible for their campers, they helped lead worship, prepare games, laughed a ton, loved their campers and each other a lot, and made friendships that will last a lifetime.
Judah Brungard related, “That week challenged and strengthened me like nothing else has before. It was a highlight of my summer.” When asked why she went to camp to serve for the third year in a row, Cana Brungard said, “I love making new friends, and seeing old friends, and spending time with people I don’t see any other time in the year.”
