The Greenville Hurricanes are back to back Tri-State Independent High School League Champions! Down 5-1 in the third inning, the Canes came roaring back to complete their sweep of the Augusta Eagles and win 12-5. James Blackburn, Killian Budlong, and Kaleb Sepko all had two hits a piece, but the biggest blow of the day came from Drake Martin. With the Canes clinging to a one run lead in the bottom of the 6th, Martin smashed a double in the right field gap that scored Budlong and Trey Jacobs and created a deficit too large for the Eagles to overcome. The Hurricanes complete their season with a record of 17-11, surpassing the previous program record of 16 wins last season!
