MYCW is an educational-based athletic program for in-need and at-risk youth (grades 5-9) in Boston. We provide our participants an opportunity to play organized basketball while receiving academic and life skills preparation as an after-school activity. The importance of education is stressed from the start and is critical to our program. MYCW provides a positive and supportive environment, focused on the development and refinement of improved social and emotional behaviors and attitudes. MYCW is far more than a basketball program; it is life altering.
