HSPN I-95 Initiative
UPDATE: One team at a time! HSPN had a nice talk with Jason Glass from Connecticut this week. Jason is forming a homeschool sports program in Fairfield County called Connecticut Courage/Truitt Athletics. Jason is a homeschool graduate and played some time with the Raleigh Hawks at East Coast Nationals. HSPN sends our support and encouragement to the Courage and Jason.
HSPN is "connecting the dots"!. We are working to complete the I-95 (and others) corridor to help increase the number and involvement of homeschool sports organizations - especially in the New England area, and trying to figure out what are the obstacles in Pennsylvania. Currently, the East Coast Nationals has done a great job reaching teams from Florida to New York, but HSPN feels that they can help these other areas too. Some things we know are the fight against liberal elected leaders, perhaps misinformation, lack of tools and resources and whatever else we can uncover.
HSPN has fostered some new relationships with various state-level homeschool organizations in the Northeast and will be reporting our progress as much as we can. We're excited to see results heading into the next school year. Stay tuned.
