The initial skeletal foundation for a Home School Sports League (HSSL) with an affiliation with the Home School Sports Network (HSPN) has been laid. The Potomac and Rappahannock Sports Board (PRSB), which includes, but is not limited to the areas of Stafford , Quantico, Fredericksburg, Fauquier, Spotsylvania, Massaponox, Northern Neck, and surrounding areas, and Prince William County, Quantico, and the southern or outer Northern Virginia areas, met to lay the groundwork and begin plans for the formation of home school teams. Junior Rowing Team Although the team is not exclusively for homeschooled children, they are welcome to join. Many of the parents who have expressed an interested were home schooling their children. We offer competitive rowing programs during the spring and fall to atjletes who live in Western Loudoun (we might be willing to make some exceptions). We race other clubs regionally (and some non-Virginia high schools) with the goal of qualifying for the junior national championships in June. Because of the level of our competition, college coaches actively recruit club rowers. Many have even made our junior national team.

My name is Ellen Mahan, I am the athletic director and volleyball coach for the Rockford
F.I.R.E. We are a HOMESCHOOL team. Our program consists of a Jr.high ,Jr
varsity and Varsity team. This season we are expanding to a 5-6th grade team.
We have been playing Christian schools in the Wisconsin and Illinois area for
six years. Unfortunatly we are not in a division of any kind. We basically get
whatever is left on the other schools schedual. But the door has been open and
we have barged thru. I am exited to find HSPN. Could you please send me
membership info and tournament info. Good news, we have two other homeschool VB
teams starting up this season. By the way we are from Rockfod, IL.

My name is Sarah Ascol and I am writing on behalf of the Lady Ambassadors of
Lee County, Florida. We are a homeschool basketball team that has been in
existence for 8 years. We have been playing in a very small christian conference
with only 6 to 14 games a season. We would like any information you may be
able to offer regarding other teams in our area, if there are any, as well as any
information about tournaments, etc.

Hi, I am a mother of 3 very athletic children
