Practice Gyms - 1) Warren County Middle School: Location: 500 West 15th Street, Front Royal, VA 22630 Take 522S over both bridges into Front Royal. At first traffic light (14th St/Commerce Ave). Turn right onto 14th Street, Take first right (follow school sign) to 15th. Follow past all buildings, the gym is at the end. Park in parking lot. 2) New Hope Bible Church- (same place where basketball meeting was held): Directions: New Hope Bible Church is located to the east of Front Royal (Rt 55 - John Marshall Hwy). Off of Route 55 (John Marshall Hwy), heading East from Front Royal. Turn onto Walker Ave, Go 3 Blocks, turn right on Linden, follow up hill to church parking lot. map to New Hope Calvary Temple (Sterling)/b> I-66 W to the Dulles Airport Exit Rt 28th N past Rt 50 intersection Pass the exit to Dulles Towncenter Mall Once pass the mall, bear right at the "Tysons Corner, Rt. 7" exit Take this exit and you will be on Rt. 7. Once on 7 you will pass the other side of the mall. Go through the stoplight at the mall, until you come to the second stoplight, passing on the left Burger King and Applebees, Regal Cinemas. You will take a left at this light, which is Palisades Pkwy. Once on Palisades, take your next left at the light, which is Triple Seven Rd., go straight passing the backside of the movie theatre. We will be on the righthand side. The gym is towards the back of the parking lot. Admission Frederick (Md) Warriors Homeschool (Thomas Johnson Middle School Recreation Center). It’s located at 1799 Schifferstadt Boulevard in Frederick. (use maps.google.com) CARAVAN leaves @ 4:15pm, From Lowe's parking lot (by Garden Center) From Front Royal, take 340 N (as if going to Frederick Christian), past Harpers Ferry, all the way to Rt 15 in Frederick. Take Route 15 North towards Gettysburg Exit right onto Route 26 East/ Route 194 towards Libertytown/Walkersville Proceed to 1st traffic light (Burger King) and turn right onto Routzahns Way (Route 355) Turn right onto North Market Street (Route 355) Proceed to 1st traffic light at Schifferstadt Boulevard and turn left Thomas Johnson Middle School is directly on your right side Gym is around the right side of the school in the rear Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA in New Market) I-81 South to Exit 264 (New Market) At ramp, turn right onto Rt 211 Go about 1 mile, pass main school builing Turn right on side street Follow to dorm parking area. Turn right into parking lot, go straight until parking lot ends. Gym is straight ahead Community Christian (23749 Old Valley Pike (Route 11) Woodstock, VA 22664 ). You can take your choice of exits of of I-81 South. Toms Brook (exit 291) left off ramp to pick up Rt 11 South. Go about 5 miles, school will be on the right. -- OR -- Go down I-81 one more exit, (Woodstock exit # 283) and turn left off of ramp, past restuarants to pick up Rt 11 North. to the Woodstock exit (#283). Turn left at exit, follow past restuarants through a few traffic lights. Follow Rt 11 N. past the Hospital, past Massanutten Military through downtown Woodstock. 4 miles school will be on the left. Admission?? Rosedale Christian (Rt 50 in Winchester). The school is on Rt 50W a few miles? past the new Wal-Mart in Winchester. School entrance will be on the left Admission Ressie Jeffries Elementary School (Criser Rd in Front Royal). Criser Rd is the next road past the Food Lion shopping center on 522 heading south. Turn right onto Criser Rd and the school will be on your right. Admission Timber Ridge School (outside of Winchester). Take I-81 N to exit #310 (Rt 37 bypass, Medical Center exit) Go past Winchester Medical Center. Take the Route 522 North/Berkeley Springs Exit . Take this exit, and at the light turn left onto Rt 522 North. Follow 522N for approx 13 miles, you will see a Liberty Truck Plaza on the left, turn left as if you are going to this plaza. It is route 694/Cumberland Trail Road. Follow approx 1/8 mile, the road will fork, bear Left. This is now Route 699/New Hope Road. Follow New Hope Road about 1/8 of a mile and you will begin to see the campus. Their gym is brand new, should be easy to locate. Christendom College is just 2 miles further past the turnoff to Rivendell. Follow 522S through Front Royal. Note "Animal Shelter" or "Christendom College" signs. At intersection of 6th Street, turn left (coming from north, turn right - coming from south). This changes name to Happy Creek Rd. Follow Happy Creek for several miles, notice RR tracks on left. At intersection of Rt 606, turn left. Again, follow Animal Shelter, or College sign. This is Shenandoah Shores Dr. Follow for about 3 miles. Turn left at the soccer field, follow around dorms to the gymnasium in the back Crossroads Christian (Winchester, VA) From Front Royal, take 522 N to Winchester, passing Costco. Turn left at Route 50, going past Shenandoah University Winchester (right next to Shenandoah University Proceed to the intersection of Millwood and Pleasant Valley then turn right at light. Go to next light and turn LEFT (Opequon?) Gymnasium is straight away, maybe a little to the left. Admission Mt Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA) From Front Royal - Take 340 S (Business) to downtown Luray. At Main Street/340 Business Intersection, go straight through traffic light. Follow 340 S Business for about 4 or 5 miles. School/Church is on the left. Admission Heritage Academy (12215 Walnut Point West, Hagerstown, Md. 21740) Take I-81 North to Maryland, then 70 West (Hancock exit). From I-70 W, take exit 24, (Rt 63), Follow a few miles to the intersection of Rt 40/144. Turn left (pass Sheetz) onto Rt 40/144 for about 1 mile, turn left onto Walnut Pt Rd (should be an arrow sign). tricky! Finally, bear right onto Walnut Point West. School will be on the right. Marshall Community Center Located in Marshall, VA (exit 28, I-66 E). From exit 28, turn left, pass McDonalds, Shopping Centers all the way to the light at Main Street. Straight through light, the community center will be on the right. RMA Middle School Campus - Front Royal (www.rma.edu) The MS Campus is located on the upper end past the Library and Hospital. Take 6th street going past the library and hospital to the top of the hill. Turn left on Chowning Hall Dr, the MS campus is 1/4 mile on the left. Admission? Frederick Christian (Frederick, MD) Take 340 N to Berryville and past Harpers Ferry and cross into Maryland. Stay on 340 N to the Mt. Zion exit on the right (about 15 miles beyond Harpers Ferry). Turn left at the exit ramp. Follow Mt. Zion Rd through intersection. Turn right onto Mt. Phillip Rd. Follow Mt. Phillip Rd. Turn left onto Carpenter Rd. The school and People's Baptist Church is at the end of Carpenter Rd. on the left. Admission Culpeper Christian School (1800 Old Rixeyville Rd, Culpeper, VA 22701) - From Front Royal, take 522 South through Flint Hill to Rt 211, Turn Left on 211 to Clevenger’s Corner. Turn right on 229, continue approx. 10 miles. Go past Culpeper County High School for 1/4 mile. Turn left on Old Rixeyville Rd. at stop light, next to St. Luke’s Lutheran School. Go 1/2 mile on Old Rixeyville Rd. School will be on the left. Parking and gym entrance is behind the school. Admission ?? Randolph-Macon Academy aka RMA (High School Campus) - (http://www.rma.edu.com/). The RMA High School gymnasium is located diagonally across from the chapel from the W Main Street entrance in (Front Royal). Follow 340S through town, passing Pizza Hut, Arbys, Taco Bell, Subway, etc. At the traffic light at the intersection where the court house is on the left, turn right onto W.Main Street. Go about 1 mile, campus entrance on right. Go about 1/4 mile, passing chapel, parking for the gym is on the left. Admission ?? Massanutten Military - (http://www.militaryschool.com/). Take I-81 South to the Woodstock exit. At exit, turn left through traffic lights and passing restuarants. At Rt 11, turn left (North) follow past hospital. School Campus is on the left, pass football field, turn left for street parking. Gymnasium is closest building from the street. Admission ?? Wakefield Country Day - (http://wakefieldcds.org/). 522 S of Front Royal to Huntly. School is on the left. Admission St. Joseph Parish School - (110 E Stephen Street Martinsburg, WV). Take I-81 N to Martinsburg, EXIT 13. Turn Right onto King Street. Go a few miles and several blocks. Turn right onto S. Queen St (Routes #9/45) Go 2 blocks, turn left onto Stephen, go around the school to the parking lot on the other side. Admission Albemarle Christian - (Covenant Church of God, 1025 East Rio Road Charlottesville, VA 22901 www.covenantchurch.net/visit.asp). Take 522S to Sperryville. Then 231 to Madison, pickup 29 South heading towards Charlottesville. Take Rio Rd East to the church. Rivendell - . Follow 522S through Front Royal.
