The goal is get more photo collections from parents and the future Flames Student Photographer
Here are the steps you need to take to get your photos included on the Flames Web-site:
- For the slideshow, pick out your favorites and them crop them (remove extraneous backgrounds, etc)
- Dimensions in pixels for the slide show is 260 pixels wide X 200 pixels high
- Should we decide to use your photo for the home page slide show, those dimensions are 500 (wide) by 400 (high)
- Send JPG or GIF images as email attachments to: coach4life@yahoo.com ( eventually they will be sent to the Student Photographer)

Girls Pre-Season Basketball
Training and Workouts for the Fall
Girls Basketball - Pre-Season Training and Workouts
The High School and Middle School Girls basketball teams will be getting a
"jumpstart" to the basketball season (begins early November.
Age Groups: Middle School (6th-8th grades) and High School age
Practices: Tuesday evenings at New Hope Bible Church, beginning in late-September (7pm)
Cost: none, but Please register via email
Directions: New Hope Bible Church is located to the east of Front Royal (Rt 55 - John Marshall Hwy).
Off of Route 55 (John Marshall Hwy), heading East from Front Royal. Turn onto Walker Ave, Go 3 Blocks, turn right on Linden, follow up hill to church parking lot.

Fall and Winter Sports
Preparatory Football Team - As we announced last year, High School Tackle football will be part of the
Flames Sports program beginning with the 2010 fall season. Until then, a prepatory season of instruction will be offered this fall (with invites going out
to area private schools). We will play in an established league of homeschool and Christian schools with teams from Richmond to Frederick, MD beginning in
the fall of 2010.
Flames and Friends Football
Age Groups: 6th-11th grades (homeschool and Christian school)
Practices: Monday evenings at the 4-H Center, 5:00 pm-dark Starts August 24th!!
Mouth Guards and football cleats required
Positions to fill : QBs, RBs, Linesmen, Receivers, DBs, Linebackers and Kickers
"Sparks" Flag Football
Age Groups: 3rd-5th grades (homeschoolers only)
Practices: Monday evenings at the 4-H Center, 4:30pm-5:30pm Starts August 24th!!
Mouth Guards and football cleats required

Fall 2009 Schedule
Directions to the 4-H Center: Located on Rt 522 a few miles south of Front Royal. Take the Harmony Hollow Rd exit and follow for about 4 miles. Follow straight past Maintenance building on right, gated entrance to the soccer field is on the left, follow up the hill to the soccer field and shelter.

At intersection of 6th Street, turn left (coming from north, turn right - coming from south). This changes name to Happy Creek Rd. Follow Happy Creek for several miles, notice RR tracks on left. At intersection of Rt 606, turn left. Again, follow Animal Shelter, or College sign. This is Shenandoah Shores Dr. Follow for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Progress Rd - follow to the very end
