Tournament Results

Described as one of the most exciting and jam-packed tournaments for homeschool and small Christian school teams on the East Coast!

Some of the teams in last year's event HSPN's unique format of pool play ensures that each and every team has the same and equal chance to advance to to the championship round. After pool competition ends, fair brackets are established placing equal teams in the same bracket. Our running clock format guarantees 5 games for each team (* except when elimination games are used), - round robin pool play, consolation / championship game.

New in 2006! - In commemorating our 9th tournament, special tournament T-shirts designed with the names of all participants will be offered for sale.

Enter the 3-point Shooting Contest
There will be 5 divisions - Girls 12 and under, Girls 13 and up, Boys 12 and under, Boys 13 and up and yes, an ADULT division. Great prizes ! Tickets are only $1 and can be purchased today through Thursday of the tournament. There are designated times on Thursday and Friday to qualify for the finals which will take place on Saturday. You must come to one of these qualifiers:

Thursday evening 10pm - 11pm at FCS, or
Friday afternoon 3pm - 4:15pm at FA

Format for 3-pt qualifiers: - Each player has 30 seconds to score as many 3-point baskets as possible from any spot around the 3-pt line. Some balls will be provided, but you can bring your own. It is highly recommended that you bring some 'buddies' to help in rebounding.

The field will be narrowed down to the top 4 in each division - ready for Saturday's finals.

MASSAPONAX Area  aka Southpointe
The exit for this event is #126 off of I-95.  Generall speaking, the schools are bookends with the "strip" of hotels, restuarants and stores in between.   During rush hour it takes a good 15 minutes to go from school to school.  If you do maps.google you can make your own short cuts.
Here is not-to-scale layout of the area.  (My apologies to map makers everywhere!)
